Bio

Born one month after the Wall Street crash in November of 1929, author & entrepreneur Dr. Angie McCartney has had tea with billionaires and busboys and done the laundry of rock stars and renegades. Now in her mid 90’s she runs several online businesses and resides in Playa del Rey, California with her daughter Ruth and son-in-law, producer Martin Nethercutt. She is the co-host of a weekly video podcast "Teaflix Tuesdays" on Facebook Live and YouTube, which is an interview series with Beatles authors and experts, pop culture figures, producers, musicians and a cast of bon-vivants and raconteurs. She also runs an online organic tea company "Mrs. McCartney's Teas" with a portion of the profits going to the Linda McCartney Breast Cancer Research Hospital in Angie's home town of Liverpool, UK.

FYC:Welcome to Dr. Angie McCartney's Liverpool Limericks
A lilting look at the Irish poetic format of the Limerick, by 94.6 year old author and narrator Dr. Angie McCartney from Liverpool, and featuring whimsical verses about icons of pop culture, the 1960's and iconic places in Liverpool, London and "across the universe." An ideal travel (or bathroom) companion for baby boomers, their grandkids and fans of the Fab Four. The print version of book also contains the history of the Limerick, and the story of Liverpool, the Fabs and their friends, QR code links to people, videos, destinations and other stops on this Magical Literary Tour. Co-penned by the witty nonagenarian Dr. Angie McCartney and digitally illustrated by her daughter - the Digital Diva - Ruth McCartney. The audio book was produced at McCartney Studios in Los Angeles by Martin Nethercutt.

None other than Queen Camilla of England is a fan, and the book has been accepted into Her Majesty’s Reading Room programme at Buckingham Palace. It’s a great way for the young generation to learn about The Beatles, the British Invasion, The Swinging 60s and what they missed “back in the day.”

Here's a book that is certain to please,
And one "one" can read with great ease,
So, if you're flying or pooping,
Relaxing or splooting,
These pages fly by like a breeze.

(see what we did there?)
